Create an environment in your home where reading and writing is a big part of every day. Read and write a lot with your kids. Have books and other reading and writing material in ready reach of kids. And be prepared to read and write yourself.
Umar likes to have a small notebook where he writes down random stuff. Arabic letters he has recognised in Mushaf, words he remembers from the book he is currently reading (being read to), and random equations he makes about a story.
Without any writing practice worksheets done ever, his writing is improving daily Alhamdulullah!
