The Niqabi Coder Mum is my statement in a world which believes in stereotyping.
I don’t have to love gossip and shopping if I am a mum. I am not dumb if I chose to stay at home.
I don’t have to be a goth or an antisocial nerd if I code. I can be a stay at home mum and still love to code.
I don’t have to dye my hair purple if I am a female interested in electronics and code, I can be my old niqabi self and still be a geek.
I don’t have to be from the clergy to wear niqab, I am not oppressed if I choose to wear niqab.
Pleasing my Allaah doesn’t limit me, it sets me free to be what I want to be.
I am free to be a Niqabi Coder Mum.
P.S:
I teach kids computer programming for free.
I share learning resources for independent learners for free.

I do graphic design not for free.
